Little Mermaid DVD

Is The Little Mermaid ever going to come out on DVD? It such a great, and classic movie that it needs too. Anyone else agree?

It did come out on DVD a couple of years back, but has since gone back into the vault. However, next fall should brinig the release of the Little Mermaid Platinum Edition DVD.

Kirsten is right. The original DVD is out of print now. The release of The Little Mermaid: Platinum Edition is still undecided. October 2005 is a strong possibility, with October 2006 being another option.

We got the gold collection edition on DVD when DD was only a little baby (she turns 3 years old tmw!) It was one of those get 3 DVD order a free one, and I was thinking "gee I bet my little girl will like that later." Boy was I right!!!!!!!! Something tells me if they come out with a new DVD with extra's I will end up getting that one too, she loves the games.


My brother seems to feel the color quailty on his VHS is better then my DVD, but I don't know what he is talking about.
