I have pondered and pondered over this scene....and just can not figure it out.....

Why does Simba think that he killed his father Mufasa?

The floor is open to debating and discussiosn.

[trying to remember] I don't think that he thought he killed him so much as he felt responsible for his death because he was being careless and his father died saving him from the stampede. Of course, he didn't know the truth at the time. Scar told him it that his fathers death was his fault and that he'd better run away never to return because he wouldn't be forgiven and-so-on-and-so-forth... At least that's how I remember it. :)

He felt it was his fault his father died even tho he didnt do it personally. He was somewhere he wasnt supposed to be, and therefore causing his father to come save him..and ultimatly leading to his death.
