Linking reservations?

I have booked a holiday to WDW for September 2019 however when I go to link my reservation to the MyDisney Experience app it says it can't do it. Am I trying to link it too early? When does reservation linking usually start working? Should I call the support line? Help please

I link as soon as I've gotten the email with the 12 digit conformation number, not had any problems. Are you sure you're using the correct confirmation number? I booked a room through one of the travel websites once and ending up talking to tech support to find that confirmation number. I would think even if the reservation is more than a year away, as long as you got that number, it should link.

Given it's this far out, am I right in thinking this is a UK package? I think you may have to wait until you're under a year out from the trip before you can link it. Maybe phone the UK number and ask.

I have an 8 digit booking confirmation reference number. The booking confirmation says that I'll receive a separate email egen I can start linking reservations. Did the happen for you?

Disney's confirmation number is 12 digits, starting with the number 4. You'll have to wait until you're sent that number. Then you should be able to link the reservation to your MDE account.

Thank you! Will just have to keep my eye out for their email then. Will hold off until I reach the one year to go limit then chase if I still don't have anything

I am from the UK also going Sept 2019. I couldnt link either so I gave them a ring.
They advised it wont show until a year out as already said.

We will just have to try and be patient.

Thanks so much for that, it's a real load off my mind. Just frustating cause I want to start linking things now!!
