linking hotel to app?

how do I link my dolphin reservation go to the app?I booked room third party.

pretty sure you can't because it's not a Disney hotel, meaning it isn't owned an operated by the Disney Company. It's on their property but you can't use the magicbands to open your room, or charge back to your room. To Disney it's as if you're not staying on property and can only make FP's 30 days out. We're staying at Four Seasons in October and experience the exact same thing, but I was aware of that having been to WDW many many times. For most people I think it's assumed if you're staying within Walt Disney World you can use the app for your hotel reservation.

You absolutely can link a Swan/Dolphins reservation to MDE. I've done it numerous times and have my upcoming reservation for October at the Swan linked since June.

You might be having an issue since your reservation was booked thru a third party and not directly thru SPG or Disney. How long ago did you book? There have been times that I've had to wait 48-72 hours for the MDE app to take the reservation number. If you still have issues after that time period, it might have something to do with the third party booking and you should call the Dolphin to ask what you can do.

When booking a Disney resort through Orbitz I had to contact customer service to get the true Disney reservation number to link in MDE. It's likely you'll be in the same boat booking the Swan & Dolphin.

called Disney directly and they told Nicole they can't link to MDE.....so I had her ask how we would use EMH the response was it will know your there.....how....our passes won't be linked...sadly I'm going to have to make a phone call myself.

It can be done for a reservation at the Swan and Dolphin. I'm there at least once a month but you have to have the actual SPG/Disney confirmation number and sometimes that is difficult to get when using a third party.

As you can see here my December reservation is clearly linked in MDE. Just keep calling and bugging the 3rd party until they give you the correct number
