Linked Magic Band... still use ticket?

So we're headed to WDW in January, staying offsite. I thought about picking up some magic bands to give the system a try (to the extent an offsite guest can; entry, FP+ and photos).

Once we linked our purchased park tickets (from Undercover Tourist) to a Magic Band, can we still use the tickets if anyone in the party doesn't want to use the band anymore?

Yes, you can. The Band is just a "pointer" that tells the system where to find your ticket info. So in terms of park gates and FP+ posts, the Band and the ticket can be used interchangeably.
