Worth it is very subjective - you were willing to pay that price and you loved the drink, so in your case, yes 
. Someone who ends up not liking the drink might say no. In Europe mixed drinks are expensive (though usually not $33 expensive), and if higher quality/price alcohol is used the drink is priced accordingly.
In the end, all that matters is that you are ok with it
