is anyone a lifeguard at disney world??? what type of certifications do u need besides cpr, first aide, and ure lifeguard one?? Is it hard to get a job as one?? I want to move down there after i graduate and be a lifeguard and join the college program... any advice or comments would be great

You need to have lots of experience from what I've been hearing, one of my roomate's friends is a lifeguard, and some of my roomates were lifeguards back home, and didn't get that role. They usually work 12/10 hour shifts :)

The lifeguards here train through Ellis, and the program is supposed to be pretty tough. Even if you have all the certifications before arriving, you still have to go through the Ellis course here.

how do u know that they are hiring... im still in high school so i wont be there for a year or so but im really interested in working at disney.... do they start u off at the resort pools and u work ur way to the 2 water parks or how does that work?? how much do they get paid.... are there like in services every week where u have to swim and all that jazz???
