Life and Jobs

WOW its been a long time since Ive been on this site :) . Since there wasnt much action in the DL section I went to another message board. I do miss you guys though :)

NOW if anyone remembers me, Ive always wanted to work at WDW. Things happened where I lost my job in CT, was homeless for a few weeks since I didnt tell anyone. Lived with a friend for a few months and then moved to CA, to Anaheim Hills where my sister lives.

I now have a roof over my head and food thanks to her. So i got out here and I am not one to NOT work, so after a few days when my computer got here I got a job almost immediately. The pay was 2 dollars an hour LESS then i was used but hey it was something.

I applied for a DL job after the new site went up, and as of yesterday im a Disney Cast member. I will be working in the Disneyland call center as a Disneyland vacation rep. I am really excited :)

NOW, there are a few questions I have and NO ONE can seem to answer them at all.

1. What are the benefits like ? I know to start off i will have none but when i become full time I will then be eligible. Im assuming the have health vision and dental? Anyone know a ball park figure for a single person?

2. Do they have a credit union?

3. Does anyone know the name of the disney store employees can buy things at ?And where it is would be helpful too :)

Well thank you to anyone that can answer these questions as i cant find anything online and no one seems to know.

1) Did you receive a benefits information book in the mail? That should answer your questions because I'm sure some things changed here and there...so I don't know the benefits off the top of my head.

2) Partners Credit Union: https://partnersfcu.org/

3) It's called "CompanyD" and I'm not sure where the DL ones are located since I've never worked there, only WDW. But I'm positive there's one not too far from your work location.

Hope this info helps!
