Liberty Tree Tavern

Hi, we are looking at possibly eating at the Liberty Tree Tavern. I am a little confused. There are two different menus for lunch and dinner. Is one a buffet and the other a sit down? How is the food there?
The pictures look like it may be a nice place to have lunch or dinner. Any comments ?

Thanks
Kevin

I've had lunch at LTT and have an ADR for dinner in February. Neither are buffets. The dinner meal is served family style, with portions of each item brought on platters to your table. We loved our lunch and are looking forward to dinner there.

I would do lunch for the expanded menu. Some of the reviews I have read for LTT in the past have been mixed, but the pot roast I had the last time we were there was fantastic.

Dinner is family style, but it's "all-you-care-to-enjoy," meaning you get limitless amounts of everything on request. (We needed extras on the green beans and mac & cheese last time!) It's a terrific, Thanksgiving-style meal, and particularly good for families who want familiar foods (tossed salad, potatoes, stuffing, gravy, turkey, pork, cranberry sauce, veggies) in a fun-themed setting, instead of something more exotic.

I've never been there for lunch (which is not family-style or all-you-care-to-enjoy), but I've read many positive reviews about the lunch offerings, as well.

Can't wait to do lunch there again (some day). Ooey Gooey toffee cake-YUM! And the pot roast--easily best pot roast I have ever had.

We prefer lunch, there is more choice and we love the toffee cake! But, we did enjoy supper, it is a prefix menu served family style! We love this place :)

Haven't been there for lunch. I really enjoyed the "Thanksgiving style" dinner, though. You can't go wrong with either one. It's a matter of preference and what works best for your schedule.
