I love Liberty Square. It's one of my favorite lands out of all of the four parks. Mostly because I love my country. I always choke up a bit when watching the Hall of Presidents. It also means a lot because I'm a distant cousin of William Henry and Benjamin Harrison. The Haunted Mansion is a classic and I love the Liberty Belle. The Columbia Harbor House is one of my favorites. Still want to try the Liberty Tree Tavern and the Diamond Horseshoe!! Anyways, what do you like-love about Liberty Square? PS- Also a great place to watch the parade!!

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
Hall of Presidents = Nap time.

I don't care what anyone says about Iago... He's right. It's the perfect place to go take a nap when it's hot and crowded! And when you ARE wide awake, it's also a great show to watch...........But that nap though..

I also love Liberty Square! I love the architecture...there's something so familiar, yet distinctly Disney about it all that makes me feel so peaceful and at home whenever I just wander around there. We're revisiting LTT this year and I am very excited!

Also, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe...I am a fan.

I have conflicting opinions about Liberty Square. I've been fortunate enough to have visited many of the actual historical sites involved in the founding of the USA: Williamsburg, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington DC. So, when it comes to invoking the feelings of our history... it doesn't necessarily ring true for me. However, I still love it as a classic part of WDW. The Hall of Presidents, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, Columbia Harbor House, the Haunted Mansion... all classics and worthy of praise.

Liberty Tree Tavern. No better memory that having Thanksgiving dinner (in September! Haha) and walking out just in time to watch Spectromagic.... I too love Liberty Square because of love of country. Also love LS for the one of the few references to The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. And I love it for the HM, also..... Is Columbia Harbor House part of LS? If it is, I love LS for that, too...

Me too! So many cool details and clever ways of teaching American History in this little land! I hope they never change it although I would be totally ok with them building a different American City town a little up the Rivers of America on the other side of the Haunted Mansion, I've always thought Disney could do Savannah right ;)

Found some cool facts in this video about Liberty Square:

It's a very underrated and overlooked part of the MK, and of WDW. I was really glad to see the Muppets addition in large part because it showed that Disney still remembered it's there, and Disney remembered what it's still about.

I still miss the Yankee Trader and Heritage House, and would love to see another colonial-themed shop again. Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe always makes a great stop though :)

I live just outside of Gettysburg, am in DC 4-5 times a year, and make an every other year trip to Williamsburg (mostly for Busch Gardens) so I can completely relate to this sentiment!

Liberty Tree Tavern.

I'll be perfectly honest in saying that I don't get to Disney as often as I'd like to and, as a kid, we always stayed at Fort Wilderness and essentially never ate on the park, so it's only been as an adult that I have really started to explore the table service restaurants at Disney. On our most recent trip, Liberty Tree was never planned, but we had a night where we hadn't made reservations and were fortunate enough to get into liberty Tree (just on a whim). Turned out to be one of our favorite meals of the trip!

I hear a lot of people say that about the Liberty Tree, haven't got to eat there yet but looking forward to when I do! Liberty Square becomes more of a favorite the older I get..

Being a NJ native now living in Central Florida, I miss having access to so much great history. I grew up and lived right in the middle of Revolutionary War sites. Because of that, I'm a huge fan of history in general. Boston, Philly, Valley Forge, D.C., Gettysburg...I've seen them all. Liberty Square, The American Adventure and that crappy little President's Hall Of Fame in Clermont (lol) are the only places in Florida where I can experience any of that. So needless to say, I'm a HUGE fan of Liberty Square.

Please explan to me and everyone else how Rapunzel is connected to Liberty Square
I love the transition from Hudson Valley -> Tangled Land -> Northeast fishing village -> Philadelphia and so on. Now LS is finally Disney!
