Due to several unexpected delays, The Liberty Square Riverboat will be closed for refurbishment through Monday, February 9. Barring any additional delays, it will tentatively reopen to Guests on Tuesday, February10.

What is the problem with the riverboat or is it just a general refurb?

I don't think I have ever seen this at WDW before today, But i was walking past the dock for the riverboat and it wasn't there and the sign was up that said closed for rehab there was a CM out there saying it was down. then I was walking back by there about 45 mins later and the liberty boat was pulling in and they had CM coming in on the boat to open the ride up again, I don't think the greeter CM knew it was coming back online from the look on her face. normally A ride is open at the start of the day or it stays closed the entire day, this was just odd.
