Are they letting people into MVMCP at 3:45 this year? I was reading an article on the party which I will be attending tomorrow. Does anyone know any info on this?

I don't think it's official, but we got in at 3:45 back in 2009. I wonder if it's just when there's a large group waiting to get in.

I imagine if there's a large group of people waiting to get in, and they have the wrist band cast in place and ready to go, they'll start before 4:00.

Beware! My friends used their party cards to get in around that time--assuming it wouldn't let them in--but it took a day off their regular ticket since they were both linked to the account. We went through a pure nightmare getting their day back. My friend was actually in tears and the cm's at EPCOT--where we found out what had happened-were so rude we were stunned. Thank goodness, when the same problem came up the next day at AK, the cm there was an angel and knew immediately what happened and what to do. If that cm hadn't been so great, I don't think my friend would ever go back again. It was that bad. I did report both events and was contacted by Disney. I just felt they should know.

A friend of mine who works in guest relations told me just the other day this has been a common problem this year. They call it "looping" because the system isn't recognizing party tickets linked to magic bands and instead is "looping" back to the next day on the day tickets. They're currently advising guests NOT to link party tickets to magic bands for this reason. Tonight was the last party, so I guess they have until next September to figure this out.

The second cm recognized the problem right away. We thought we were about to be called liars once more and were in such dread of the EPCOT cm response all over again, but thank goodness, she said that it was no problem she could straighten it out right away, and she did. She apologized for what had happened at Guest Relations in EPCOT and even gave us two fastpasses to compensate a little for all the time wasted at GR in EPCOT and the 10 minutes for her to straighten it out and give my friends new cards.

We ran into a very knowledgeable CM last week. There are/is a turnstile(s) that read ONLY the MVMCP data on the MagicPass. If you don't go through that specific turnstile, it will take a "regular" day off your pass.
