I sent an email to disney world about beastly kingdom and they sent me this reply.
Dear Cumby31,

Thank you for contacting WALT DISNEY WORLD!

It may interest you to know that the three themes of Disney's Animal Kingdom
Theme Park(live animals, extinct animals, and mythical animals) have been
constant from the inception of the park. Actual details on park layout (i.e.
number of "lands," etc.) changed often during the design phase of the park.
Although, some details of the mythical section were released early on, plans
change as the design evolves. There are a variety of factors that determine the
development of our theme parks, including cost, guest interest and operational
logistics, and those factors (among others) played a role in the decision to not
have the mythical section of the park open when Disney's Animal Kingdom opened.
(A similar strategy was used at the Disney-MGM Studios. The park was built with
future expansion in mind from the start.)

The mythical section, now tentatively called the Beastlie Kingdomme, is still in
the planning stages. Since no details have been officially announced we can't
provide any information. A roller coaster is in the planning stages, although
all plans are subject to change without notice, and no opening date or specific
details have been announced.

We hope you find this information helpful.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if
applicable on all correspondence.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Beastlie Kingdomme looks like an old mythological/old english spelling. Most old spellings have e's added to the end of a lot of words. This could help the theming of the area.

well, with that spelling, we know this will actually take place in the Middle Ages, which is kewl. No post-apocalyptic new york (thank GOD...)

Medieval times? Mmm, maybe Universal will be annoyed that they use the same theming that The Lost Continent in IoA...which is basically medieval and some additions like Sinbad or Poseidon.

Universal doesn't have a copyright on the Middle Ages and I don't honestly think disney cares what Universal thinks. Provided it's not an exact (or near exact) replica, they have no grounds for a complaint. I think Beastlie Kingdomme will be better than The Lost Continent anyway...Disney's original plans for Dueling Dragons were better than what Universal built...disney has certainly spent more time in the development of this land than Universal spent with LC (considering disney originally had Dueling Dragons, it's kinda a requirement that disney has been planning longer...). It's gonna be so kewl!!!!!!!!!

i like it too! and i love the whole Medieval concept! that should be awesome, and so completely different! some people will probably want to shoot me for saying this, but i would love to see something that is in a way loosely based on J.R.R Tolkien! i think that would be really cool! and i'm not saying have like charcters or creatures from the books...more like the landscape that was used for the books. maybe like old forests and green fields and the like.

Wasn't there some photos from a website that was making medieval suits of armor that were torn up by some dragon?

I seem to remember something awhile back.

Edit: What I meant was that there was a website for a company making the suits for an undisclosed disney project.

I think the Name Beastly Kingdom would work better than the Beastlie Kingdomme. Make it easier for the public to see. But this shows that there are plans. Because obviously the person who wrote the email spelt it Beastly Kingdom. And the person at Disney corrected it with the new spelling. So there are plans for the land...maybe a lot more than we know!!

BEASTLIE is Ok, but Kingdomme? Again?! It's cool for a whole park to be named like that but a land? Plus it's too redundant. I think the name needs to include something different, because the park also includes the word, so it would be messy...
