To follow up regarding my letters to Disney management about CoP. I received a letter signed by Marty Sklar ( I know he didn't personally write it). He wrote to me regarding my concerns about CoP. I don't want to sit here and type out his entire letter. I'll get it scanned later tonight or tomorrow and post it online. But, he basically states CoP isn't going anywhere. However, he does acknowledge that Disney is ever changing. Which I feels he leaves open for a change or total desctuction of CoP. When I post the letter, you read it and decide.

I wonder if its a standard form letter that he has for questions about CoP. I know someone posted a letter from him several months ago in regards to CoP and he said the same sort of thing that you are mentioning.

I don't have a link for it. I think Grizz may have posted it, but it was a while back so I really can't remember if he did, or just commented in the thread.

Someone got the exact same letter earlier. But I wouldn't expect to see the CoP go bye-bye yet. Timekeeper is in worse condition and seems to be much closer to be replaced. (flying saucers still? I wouldn't mind if it didn't have that Toy Story theme).

I remember also a rumor from a year ago (after the flying saucer one) that stated that CoP might return to Disneyland as the 1964 version. I honestly think the ride needs to be completly reworked to celebrate the 20th century in its entirety.
