what trivia do you know about epcot that would be interesting finds for a group of high school seniors?

on one of our days next month at the wdw, the sponsors of a senior trip will be holding a scavenger hunt of sorts for teams of students. the hunt will begin in future world and will end in the world showcase. each sponsor will be assigned a pavilion where the teams will report to uncover a number of treasures there before being allowed to move on to the next pavilion. the winning team gets a prize (late check-in, mouse ears, or some such award). my question to all you epcot experts is what interesting facts do you know from the following pavilions that could be searched for by these teams of students:
Canada
France
Morocco
Italy
Norway
Mexico
Any of the Future World exhibits

We can only spend a maximum of three hours on the hunt. And answers must be verifiable by information gleaned from the exhibit or by talking to the cast members working there. Got any ideas?

Here's one to get you going - what's the name of the bitter aperitif served at ice station cool, and in what country is it a favorite?

I'm a junior in high school and I just have to say that if I got to go to Epcot for a field trip, I wouldn't want to waste my time on a scavenger hunt. Anyways you could take them around the park starting at SE and ending at AA. But please let them go on the rides. :slurp:

ToWeroFTerRor67,
thanks for you concern for your peers. we will be there a week and it is for educational purposes. the students will have plenty of free time to go to all the parks (4-day hopper), and downtown disney. we are staying on property. the epcot adveture is to help make sure the students take advantage of a park they normally wouldn't because they, like you, normally seek out thrill rides. epcot is an amazing park if you take the time to encounter it.

Check the Easy Epcot trivia thread for some interesting questions. It may be a bit to chew though...there's 60+ pages. But here's some that I can think of.

Canada
*The Hôtel du Canada is mainly patterned after the French Gothic design of what building? Château Laurier in Ottawa.
*What do the rocks and waterfall represent? the rocky mountains.

France
*Where can you find a Napoleon (not a character  )? In the patisserie.
*To what scale was Epcot's Eiffel Tower built? 1/10.

Morocco
*What will you never find in Moroccan artwork? Images of Animals.
*How many stars will you find on a Moroccan flag? One.

Italy
*What's the difference between Epcot's Venice vs Venice? They're mirror images of each other.
*What place is represented in Epcot's Italy? St. Marks Square in Venice.
*What buildings are copied from Venice? The Doge's Palace and the Campanile.

Norway
*Look for some facts about Stave Chruch. I never knew you could enter the church until my 4th visit!

Mexico
Maria should know plenty of facts about this pavilion. I'll leave this one up to her. :D

Any of the Future World exhibits
*What type of power does Universe of Energy operated? It uses solar panels on the roof to operate the attraction.
*What type of structure is Spaceship Earth? It's a geodesic sphere.
*What type of crash test is used in Test Track? Frontal Impact.
*Find the talking water fountains in Future world. 1)On the East side of the Fountain of Nations (near mouse gear). 2) In the west side of the park. Right by the washrooms.
*Find the talking garbage can. In the Electric umbrella.
*Where's the Hidden Mickey in Guest Relations? Check the round wall and the two 'half circles' on the floor. :animwink:

If I can think of any more I'll post them. Hope this helps.
