Kinda cool, pays tribute to the old Disneyland sign, and it rotates between the photos and Disneyland letters, don't really care for the photos.

EDITOR’S NOTE 1/9: When Disneyland opens Tues morning, the Let The Memories Begin marooned parade float will be gone from the entrance Esplanade. It never quite looked right out there, and Marketing has agreed to remove it. The Memories campaign limps along through the spring until the massive DCA relaunch takes over, but the float goes away even earlier.

IMO the actual sign part was ok but the base made it look like a broken down parade float. I also have to say thankfully no more decorations made there way into the parks. Unlike the Celebrate and Year of a Million Dreams 1.0 decor:hurl::hurl::hurl:...

Ooh! Good news from Al Lutz late tonight! :sohappy:

Yeah, the broken down parade float was nice if you put your hand up in front of your face and blocked out the bottom five feet.

That thing didn't even last a full year. Nice to see TDA realize it wasn't quite what it should have been, and pull it. The Esplanade will be very busy this summer with two massively popular theme parks on each side, so there's no need for broken down parade floats mussing up the space.

So long to the Memories!
