My friend asked me..and I didn't know what to say...

She recentley dislocated (sp??) her knee...in our last lacrosse game...

They're leaving tonight for WDW...AS sports....

They did not pay for prefered rooms since they just wanted 2 adjoinning rooms and didn't want ot pay extra...

she would like to be closer to the bus stop...and food court...but since she in not in the prefered section...she's not sure if that would be possible...

They're going to call the resort and ask...but I was wondering if I could give her an answer now...

any help would be great

Tell her to have her parents explain her situation at the front desk when they check in. Hopefully they will have a nice CM who will give them something close to all of the afore mentioned. I would also suggest that she go to guest services in the parks and get a "special pass" that will give her special treatment so that she can get on the rides with her family faster. Tell them just to explain to the people at guest services what she did to her leg and if she has a brace for it, I'd wear it.

My dad had unexpected knee surgery about a month or so before we left for WDW last summer. We were staying at All-Star Movies, and my mom called to request the room near the main building where we stay every year. When we got there to check in, the computer said, oddly enough, that we had requested a room away from the main building. The Cm's were quick to please us, and we did indeed get "our" room after all.

My suggstion would be to get a wheel-chair at the parks. My dad refused to get one, and made us miserable the whole time, needing to stop frequently to rest his knee. We would have been better off with a wheel-chair, not only to get dad around easier, but to get into rides with minimal waiting.

Good luck, for your friend, that is.
