Leaving Non Expiring Tickets Linked Indefinitely?

I decided not to use my non expiring tickets for my upcoming trip.

I called this morning to see if there was a way to remove them from MDE (linked them back in March), and was told that it is impossible to do so. The rep reassured me that these will not be used up unless I go beyond the days of tickets that I purchased for the trip, and that they will remain in my MDE until I am ready to use them- even if it's 10 years from now.

It makes me extremely NERVOUS. Has anyone linked their non expiring tickets and then decided not to use them? Any problems with that?

If you link an additional ticket to your account, the one thing I would do before you enter your first park would be to stop at a park Guest Services window and have them look up what order the tickets are listed in your account. You'll want the newer ticket listed first so that it's used when you go to enter the park for the first time. The admission system will then use that first ticket for admission until all days are used up, as the CM stated.

We had a similar situation last June. We'd gotten 1-day comp tickets from a CM friend of mine, and were using them in conjunction with 2-day non-hopper convention group tickets we bought separately. Since the CM comp ticket included park-hopper and we only needed to park-hop that first day, we wanted to make sure that it would be used first. We waited in a short line at Guest Services, and the CM confirmed the tickets were in the order we wanted. It only took a couple minutes.

Why are you nervous?

If you stop at Guest Services upon arrival, they can set the priority as to what tickets are used first, second etc as Rob562 said

They were "prioritized" on the phone call. My MDE still looks the same though.

I'm nervous because it was so difficult trying to link them in the first place. I will not use them for at least 3 years, saving them for a short trip only. Doesn't make mathematical sense to buy separate tickets on top of them. I had 21 3 day hopper non expiring, this is my last one..just want to make sure there is no way I will lose it.

I prioritized a 5day ticket this trip at guest relations before I entered the Parks while still having a couple non expiration tickets. I'll confirm to you in a few days that the ticket disappears because it was used and my non expiring tickets have remained.
But before you enter the Parks, I would just confirm in person at guest relations.
