Leaving A Gift

Is it possible to leave a gift for someone who is coming down on a later gift or have something in their room waiting for them. I know there are the floral/gift baskets but I was hoping for something more personalized... I.E. I buy something from one of the shops and it's in their room when they get there.

I am thinking you may have to tell the family you are leaving a present for that they need to ask for it at check in? So, they may have to know in advance, like the day the check in, that there is something waiting for them. I have no idea really, sounds like a great idea. Let us know what you figure out!

We were the recipients of a surprise gift one year. It was left for us at our resort's front desk. After we checked in, a message was left on our phone that we had a gift waiting for us at the front desk. So, yes, it can be done.
