Leaving 8/30, do I need a touring plan along with FP+

My family of 7 along with my parents and my Brother and his family of 5 have our FP+ planned for our august 30th trip. Do we need to do a touring plan as well? We will be meeting for our ADR's and FP+ but going our separate ways the rest of the time.
Thanks:)

I would sketch out a rough touring plan, at least, to make sure you're in convenient locations when it comes time to use your FP+ reservations and getting to your ADRs on time, as well as hitting the popular attractions for which you don't have Fastpasses right after rope drop or during EMH. With a family of 7, the last thing you want to have to do is a lot of zig-zagging back and forth across the parks.

I wouldn't try to plan for everyone. Have an idea of what you want to do and map it out. Let the others know so they can join if they want to, but just plan to meet for ADRs. FP+ has an hour window, so you might want to have a general idea of either meeting early or late in that hour.

Texting worked best for our group to coordinate as we went through the parks. But, for the most part, immediate family members stuck together and the rest of the group met up when it worked. Otherwise it's too hard to keep everyone happy - and then no one's happy.

Having ADRs and FP+ together is a great plan! Enjoy your trip!!
