Le cellier vs chefs de france

Hello Disney Lovers. I have a standing ADR for an early dinner @ Le Cellier when I go to the World in July. I most likely will be dining solo that night. I wanted to dine in the Epcot area as they are having evening EMH's that
night. With the recent menu changes and price increase (I mean $9 for the cheese soup-my favorite) I wanted to get everyone's take on Chefs
de France as an alternative. How is the food, service and do you think I
would be comfortable their as a solo diner. If anyone has any other suggestions I welcome that also. Thanking you all for your opinions!!!!!
By the way I will be staying at Coronado Springs for the first time, so feel free to comment on the resort to!!!!

Totally comfortable solo and the food is great. Chef's has really become our favorite World Showcase dining location.

Can't lie...I'd stay with Le Cellier. No contest. I loved Le Cellier...the best steak i've had in Disney. I personally hated Chefs de France (my boyfriend did as well) Bland, dry food...bad service...so loud.

Tokyo Dining tempura/sushi combo...very fun and you could eat at the sushi bar so solo is perfect. Just my suggestion as I loved it way more than Chefs de France, the service there was lacking and the food eh....

Chefs de France is one of our favorites! We've always had great food and service. Going solo would not be a problem there at all.

You are going to get a lot of mixed responses to Chefs

I for one like it a lot. There are quite a few dishes on that menu that I enjoy.

As for the atmosphere being loud and bustling - it's a brasserie. That's how it's supposed to be. They put that right on the windows of the place. I guess people think "French" and they assume classical French fine dining. That is not what should be expected here, nor is it what you will get.

As for solo dining there - I have done it. I like to get a window seat if possible. Nothing like sitting there with some good food, a glass of wine, and watching the people go by outside.

The best place for steak in WDW is at Shulas Steakhouse at the Dolphin so when I want a really good steak I go there. We haven't eaten at the Chef's de France in a long time so that is where we are headed for one of our meals.

I didn't care for LeCellier...but I don't eat steak.
I am going with Les chef de France on this trip...maybe I'll see you there...we are also going in July :wave:
