I just saw a small article mentioning the removal of skulls on sticks in Adventureland... This coupled with the removal of skeletons shows that kinda is Disney's mindset... Nothing even slightly macabre... Don't want to offend anyone with a scary skull now do we...
Why!? The skulls make a touch of essence of Adventureland!

Your guess is as good as mine... But I assume it has to do with the cleansing of the Jungle Cruise... Remove any aspects that may be considered offensive (skulls suggestive of a headhunter origin etc...). Blame those who support the jungle cruise changes, they want it so they can feel good about themselves.

I agree its probably just another themed store for Tiana. There is already Gumbo a few doors down at Royal Street Veranda.

Hate to break to them, but life is not sunshine and rainbows like Disney like to portrays of life. Lol

I have to wonder if this is TDA/WDI testing the waters to see what their expectations should be for Frog Mountain and the accompanying Tianaland redo of Critter Country.

It's surprising to me that this is the store that closed- NBC/Mansion merchandise sells fairly well I assume. But I'm glad the Arribas Brothers location, the parfumerie, and the Pandora spots will remain.

This was a chick's store with nice theming inside but probably nothing you'd ever want to buy even if you were a chick. It was mostly known for nice expensive store-bought bat lamps and other macabre decor.

The last version of this store sold stuff you can find at WOD or the Dress Shop in DTD since 2017. NBC/Mansion merchandise is located at Port Royal .

I think I got the shops mixed up! Was this that dress shop? I think the bat name made me think it was the Mansion shop.

I can't say I ever shopped there. Not really my type of store.

I think that was the intention back when it opened around the first or second Haunted Mansion Holiday, but all the Mansion/NBC has moved over to the shop near Pirates ever since they've had less stuff to sell thanks to the movie franchise dying down in popularity.

Why wouldn’t they just start selling the merchandise in the gift shop for the log flume? They can’t exactly sell crap based on what’s there now
