Lawsuit over Frozen teaser trailer

There is a lawsuit brewing against the Frozen teaser where Olaf loses his nose and then has to chase Sven to get it back. The plaintiff made a movie called The Snowman with a trailer they claim Disney copied for Frozen.
I watched the trailer, but I'm not sure if I would necessarily agree with their complaint. Sure, there are some similarities between the two, but there are also lots of differences. See for yourself, then voice your thoughts.

I don't think there's much of a case here. The idea of a creature trying to eat a snowman's carrot nose is hardly something anyone can copyright. I remember reading an old Peanuts strip where Snoopy wept over a melted snowman, then ate its carrot nose. The plaintiff's wasting his time IMO...

I totally agree with this. Why is it such an issue? It would be different if Sven was a rabbit and he fell into the pond too, but still....

I think the creators of Frosty the Snowman would have a better case against the plaintiff than the plaintiff has against Disney.

I think someone is looking for an easy pay day. I guess their lawyer did not get the memo that Disney rarely settles stuff like this anymore.
