late October or late November

A little background. I have been to Disney about 8 times. Each time in early Dec...

Well we are planning again but due to my wifes job we cannot go in December this year. I had originally planned to go in Nov. the week before Thanksgiving week. Still Christmas fell cooler temps...etc etc...however I have always wanted to go and see the parks decorated for Halloween.

Just not sure what to do...I was thinking if we go in Oct. We would go one of the last 2 weeks of the month...I have checked TP's crowd calendar and the crowd predictions are better than the Nov. Dates...

I am concerned about the crowd levels...TP's has it lower for the Oct dates so I was hoping to hear what crowd levels would be like in Oct or Nov...I know when we have gone in early Dec we have never ever waited longer than 20-25 minutes for anything...usually 5 to 10...and thats without using FP's....

So I need you to convince me to when to go....

Nov 14-22nd or Oct 17th to 25th...or Halloween week

thanks in advance

Hello! Personally, I love going to WDW in Nov. For the past 3 years, my family has visited during the month of Nov, staying at least a week each time, and have found the crowds very reasonable. The weather is usually beautiful (though this past year, it was very warm).

Hardly a wait in any line longer than 15-25 min, usually the shorter time. I remember a couple of times we just stayed on a ride to take another turn, without getting back in line! Also, we attend MVMCP, and that's a great time to ride your favorite attractions multiple times.

I have never been in Oct, but I do highly recommend Nov.

A few years ago we went the last week of October - we were there for Halloween. The weather was beautiful and the wait lines were not long at all for rides. The Halloween decorations were up and looked great! They even had trick or treating for the kids at the resort...we joined in too! Go and have fun!

If you have never seen the halloween decorations than go in October. The christmas decorations are better imo, but if your going before Thanksgiving they will only be partially up anyway. Either way crowds wise your golden, have fun.

Meega, nala kwishta!
Also, the Food and Wine is underway in October at Epcot. If you've never tried that, that would be another reason to go in October.

That's one of the reasons we do. :slurp:
