late night dining question

hey everyone,

we will be going to the world on december 14th. i have a final that day, so we won't be arriving until about 11pm or later. we will be staying at wilderness lodge nd would like to eat whispering canyon. does anyone know if it will still be open, or what restraunts will be open?
any help is much appreciated

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge last year during the 2nd week of December. You'll love the place.

I remember the restaruants closing around that time, however, they have room service. The after hours menu gets rather limited though.

Depending on how tired you might be and how you are arriving at Disney, you may want to entertain eating elsewhere that first night maybe even "off world".

we've never stayed at WL before and are really excited to try it. we had wanted to eat whispering canyon for dinner that night, but we may have to hunt for food.

any other suggestions?

Call Dining and see what time they have. WC requires advance, it is usually pretty busy.

We seem to have this problem all the time when we are there. We stay at the parks until they close, and then we have a hard time finding something to eat. We end up doing room service a lot. The ESPN Club is open, but after a certain time they switch to only appetizers. And don't bother calling, because every time we do they tell us they are serving meals but when we get there they aren't. It's really annoying. Anyway, I think there is food Downtown Disney later than anywhere else too. But if you call WDW-DINE they may be able to give you an idea about what is open (and actually serving.)

Some of the deluxe resorts have places that are open 24 hrs.

I'm pretty sure you can go to the Poly and eat at Captain Cook's any time. The food isn't spectacular, but you'll be able to enjoy the glory that is The Poly at Night (c).

Artist Point (Signature Restuarant)
Dinner 5:30PM-10:00PM

Whispering Canyon Cafe (Family Style Table Service)
Breakfast 7:30AM-11:00AM
Lunch 12:00PM-3:00PM
Dinner 5:00PM-10:00PM

Roaring Fork (Quick Service)
Breakfast 7:00AM-11:00AM
Lunch/Dinner 11:00AM-12:00AM

Miss Jenny's Provisions In Room Dining (Room Service)
Breakfast 7:00AM-11:00AM
Dinner/Snacks 4:00PM-12:00AM

i would check up on the resturants in Downtown Disney & or the Boardwalk.
