Late check-OUT?

Does Disney allow for late check-out? I'm just looking for an extra hour or so.
I know they will hold your things at the front desk but I'm wondering if we can check out a little late so that my daughter can get a nap :snore: in before our flight home. Unfortunately she's one that won't sleep in my arms so the plane ride can be pretty miserable if she doesn't get a good nap in.

If you do express checkout i think you just need to be out before the maid shows up, theu unlikely actually check that you left at the exact chechk out time.
That being said you do know check out is 11 am right? why not just have her sleep in?

This maybe against rules, but my fiance goes and checks us out. We then take our time packing and leaving. We have never ran into the problem of mousekeeping hurrying us up. They generally are really good and we just go on our merry way. May not happen to everyone this way, but so far we have faired well. Like I said, this may not be within Disneys check out policy. Hope this helps.

I called the front desk the day before and asked of we could have extra time after 11 and they had no problem with it. We left by about 12:30.

You can request a late check out as late as 1pm. Most of the time they can accomodate you without a problem.
