Late 30s female solo trip in September; looking for company at parks..

Hello everyone.

I am a female in my late 30s taking a solo trip to WDW from September 10-20th. I have been there with friends twice before but this is my first solo trip. I am looking to see if there are any others who'd like to meetup and hang out at the parks. I am open to meeting up with other solo travelers, couples, or friends traveling together. I enjoy all six theme parks but Epcot is probably my favorite with Animal Kingdom being a close second. I enjoy painting, festivals, artsy stuff, meeting new people, and intelligent conversation. Please respond to this thread if you will be at Disney at the same time as me and would be interested in hanging out at the parks for a couple of hours.

Thanks,
A solo traveler.

Welcome, solo trips are a lot of fun. I am a somewhat local so I go quite often. You'll get a lot done being here 10 days? What resort will you be staying at? Might be able to drop by one day to hit up a park depending on my work schedule :)

Sweetie, I'm not sure asking anonymous strangers on a website if they would like to meet up at a crowded amusement park full of people for a few hours to hang out is a great idea, safety wise, especially if you are alone. One respondent asked for the resort you are staying in. Not good.

Anyone can get on this website and review your comments and responses to them.

You're the prettiest 51 year old male I've ever seen.

I'm staying off property (prefer not to say the name of the hotel) and am only looking to meet others within in the park rather than outside of it. Not looking for hookup or anything; just company. Send me a private message if you're interested in meeting up for a meal or just chatting in person while walking around the park, waiting in line, etc.

I plan to do all 6 of the parks with a 9 day park hopper while I'm there.

I am staying on property, only plan on doing MK+ DHS half days.
rest of my time ill be DTD or UNI:cool:

I will certainly spend time at both of those parks. Probably won't do Universal though. I will arrive on the morning of the 10th and probably get to MK in the early afternoon. Send me a private message if you want to meet up there.

I hope this isn't for real and you aren't planning to do a park hookup (even just for company) with a 51 year old stranger. Yikes! Go by yourself and strike up conversations with people already in the parks. :)

Wow, I only asked what resort because I love all the resorts and was going to offer tips or advice which is what this site was about I thought. Not all people are creepy stalkers. I happen to know quite a few people who have met up over this page on solo trips and all have become good friends.

Yes this is a public forum but honestly as an adult I'm certain the OP is aware of what information is probably best left unsaid! WDW Resort is a public place so as long as you use you head meet out in the public eye I'm certain everything will be fine.
On my last trip to the World my friend and I made plans to meet a WDWMagic member @abeachchick who also introduced us to some other solo travelers! We mostly met up outside of the parks at resort bars and lounges we had some drinks shared some food, stories, tips, and laughs. It was completely harmless as well as a blast! Now I feel like I have a new friend (/drinking buddy ;)) to hang out with while in the World should she be there at the same time.

All you people are creeps!

Really now...at least here some people are know to others. This kind of meet up isn't that odd! I find a new profile more of a predator than the responders.

It's easier to meet people online for people that are shy in public.

What safer place is there to meet than Disney World?

I met up with 26 other ladies from this site to take a 4 night cruise on the Dream last September. I had not met most of them, a few I didn't know at all. Some of us Dream Girls are going on another cruise this September. I see nothing wrong with meeting up with other Disney fans, as long as you go about it safely.
