Last year for Villains Mix n Mingle?

2010 may be the last year for the Villains Mix n Mingle show at the castle. It's rumored that some have proposed additions to the show but they have not been approved. There hasn't been any word if a different show or entertainment would be added for MNSSHP in the future to replace Mix n Mingle.

There were also proposed character additions to Boo to You parade and those were not approved as well.

Per Jim Hill on the Magical Definition Podcast - the new locale will likely be Gaston's Tavern.

That would be interesting. All I heard was that Entertainment wanted to add certain things to the show and the budget wasn't approved. Now, they are looking at doing away with the show.

Any new characters this year? Hades?

I wish Hades would come out. Dr. Facilier and Snow Hag will be out this year.

I am hard pressed to see how TDO could justify doing away with one of the big pluses from this hard ticket event, particularly without offering something in its stead.

That sounds really dumb. I personally think the show is fine as it is, so if new additions were not approved, why then just do away with the show?

I agree. Getting rid of the show just because new additions haven't been approved is kinda rough. But then they have kept the castle float around for how many years?

Moving it to Gastons tavern could be cool. But will that be completed for next Halloween? I thought that was still 2012 at the earliest?

They did that with 'Twas at MVMCP. I'm sure there would be something in place of Mix n Mingle if they did get rid of it.

Things change all the time in Walt Disney Entertainment; it could stay or it couldn't. I've just heard it was a possibility.
