Last Seating at Sci-Fi Dine In

We just booked a reservation for Sci-Fi and it is the last seating for the night. Has anyone experienced dinner during the last seating? How did you find the service? Was the service just a great as it is earlier in the day? Thank you for the opinions!

Being from the westcoast and not wanting to eat dinner at 3 pm our time we always book as late as possible. It is hit and miss as far as quality of food and service. Example-at Le Cellier I ordered prime rib and was given a tough, pan fried piece of meat which was nothing close to what we received on our last trip and meal there. Example 2- 9 Dragons has always been very accomodating, has window seating for fireworks and you usually leave after the park closes so you get to see the night crew busy at work or, even a disney cat. Now Sci-Fi Drine In has always been a little hit-and-miss as far as I'm concerned. I dislike getting hitchikers because seating is soo close. Tables are rare but, mutch better. And, I'll take ribs over burgers anyday. Also, because the place can be a little rowdy, so can the staff. But, this is just my personal opinion.

we were there one night after fantasmic. we had been given a reservation for that time, i was surprised, but happy. turns out, when we showed up, we were the only folks still arriving. the reservation time being open had been a mistake. but nonetheless they took good care of us, did not rush us, played the movies just for us, and in fact we did not find out that the reservation was a mistake until we left the building and security was there to escort us out since the park was long closed. so, really, they acted like it was mid-day, despite the fact that i am sure they wanted out of there!

It is great to hear they still treated you well despite the fact that it was closing time. I was wondering if they made a mistake with the late seating we scheduled. Hopefully our experience will be just as great as yours. Thank you for the responses.
