 Next week this time our family will be in WDW. Our first visit! :p
Yaaaaaaa! finally! :sohappy:

I don't want to feel like its more of a job, rather than an adventure!

Question?
Touring plans, such as suggested in "The Unofficial Guide". :lookaroun

Do you veterans use them? (of course not) :hammer: What do you think of them?

Have you found them helpful?

Use them, but customize for your group?

Thanks for all you folks input ahead of time!! I have found this site a fount of information! Hey, I'm hooked and I'm not even there yet....

No
but then we have been so often we know what we want to see and how long it will take us to see it.

I plan out where we go each day(mk or epcot etc) then what time we usually eat, ( travel companion is on a very set time schedule) It kinda gives a back bone to the day.

I don't know who wrote some of those touring plans but god forbid if you need an unscheduled restroom break, It could throw off your whole trip.

If I were you I would pick the things I just couldn't miss and plan your day around them.

I have taken them in the past and chucked them in the trash right away. With two small children you just have to go with the flow. Make sure you know where you have to go and take it easy. I got so uptight last time because the plan wasn't going smoothly. Once I got rid of the plan we had a blast.

I have never used one. Of course as stated by moonshadow people who've been alot know what they want to do and how long it's going to take. However even if it were my first time going, I don't think I would use a touring plan. I just like to go around however I feel. If I feel like doing this or that, I do it and I wouldn't want to follow what a book tells me to do. Have a great trip!
