Last Minute Disney trip~ gift

Hey, y'all! My parents gave our whole family a trip to Disney for a few days. Leaving on Dec 27 and heading out Jan 1.

Couple of concerns- 1: We have always only stayed in the parks but this time we'll be at Sea World, so we are LOST as to how all of this will work, regarding the magic bands, scheduling FP, etc. I think we order the bands through Disney, and hope get here in time? Totally lost lol.

Concern 2: Are we even going to be able to secure FP for any of the "main" stuff at this point? Or are we at the mercy of standby only, probably? Yikes.

Our park tickets are being ordered today, so I assume I can then log on (somewhere?) and start the FP process. Again, I am only used to doing this months in advance, and using a Disney vacation package. So any advice, tips, or guidance on how to help plan this one last minute would be wonderful!!

Have a magical day, thanks! :)

If you already have a My Disney Experience account, you can still make your FP+ there, once your tickets are bought and linked to the account. You can only do them 30 days in advance though due to you being offsite.

If you want magicbands, you will need to pay for them, they are only free if you stay at a Disney resort. If you have bands left from a previous trip still linked to MDE, you can reuse them.
