Large Group Dining

We (a large parent group) are going to Orlando in May to watch our children participate in Performing Arts Onstage. We would like to have a group lunch or dinner (depending on the children's schedule) that isn't ridiculously expensive (we know Disney is pricey). There may be anywhere from 25-50 of us. Does anyone have any experience with this or creative ideas?

It is unlikely any restaurant on property would be able to accommodate you on the fly and you can't make that large a reservation online. You will need to phone Disney dining and they will probably connect you to group sales which can arrange something. You will need to have an actual number of people attending before they will book anything.

Group dining is usually handled directly with each restaurant. They prefer to seat groups either as soon as they open for a meal or towards the end of that meal due to table availability.

I'd call the WDW-DINE number and ask, but most likely they will refer you to the restaurant directly.

The time of day you're trying to book will make a difference too. We traveled with competitive cheerleading for years and found it easiest to get venues to work with us if we were willing to book first seating.

Plus have a credit card to hand - Disney will want a cc against the booking and charge you $10 per person in case you don't show up on the day
