Large Group Accomodations

Hey all! I am needing a bit of help planning my next trip. We will be traveling as a group of 12 -14. We will have four children under the age of 12. I have never reserved a room for a group this large and was not sure we could do a Grand Villa since we are not DVC members. I am a passholder and was planning on using my discount for our Nov. trip. However, I am wondering if it would be cheaper to rent points for a Grand Villa. Would a better idea be to reserve multiple smaller villas? The family LOVES OKW.

Can you help?

I don't know if this will help you but, I am travelling with about 16 people and we are staying at the new Art of Animation hotel and you can fit 6-7 people in a room, that way you would only need 2 rooms! If you're looking into the DVC's I don't know much about them, sorry! Hope I helped a little

Renting points would be your best way to get a Garden Villa, but it would probably be more economical to get some smaller rooms at OKW or another resort.

You may also want to consider that with such a large group, just two suites would be a lot of together time.

My best recommendation is to deal through a travel agent and let them do all the hard work and let them help you evaluate the options. There are several great ones, including some associated with the site here, and they don't charge a fee to help. Good luck!
