Land of the Rising Sun: Japan

I think Japan should have some sort of attraction in its pavillion to honor the country's wonderful culture.
Duration: 5 minutes
Summary: The ride would focus on three main periods of time: ancient japan, pre modern japan (1700's-1900's), and modern japan. Although I feel a discussion of WWII would be okay, i find the appeal for that to be very small. The ancient japan would show such traditions as samarai and fine arts in japan. Pre-modern japan would feature japan evolving and modern japan would show the growth of business, anime, etc.


I think a typical boat ride would be boring and silly, however a track ride might be fun. Any ideas to improve this?

How about a bullet train, you could start of in modern Japan, but just get a glimpse because the narration would be something like "but Japan was not always this way", and then you move fast (not coaster speed) but enough to get your hair blown a little and then you are in ancient japan, then you move fast again and blast forward to pre-modern, then you blast forward again and you go back to modern Japan but this time you get a more indepth look before your ride comes to an end, the parts where you go fast could be like through dark tunnels where are the walls are projected a digital blend of pictures from the previous time period morphing into the next one.

I also think, that a short (1-3 minutes) movie about japan after the ride.
