Land and Sea trip.

I've seen everywhere that you can do Land First, and Sea Second. We have talked about it, but would MUCH rather do Sea first and Land second. We have never cruised, and don't want to finish up a trip on a boring boat ride if we don't like it. At least then we have a full Disney Vacation ahead of us still. Do they book this way? If so, we are wanting to do the 4 day cruise, then like a 7-8 day land pkg. Do they offer this? Or is it just restricted to 3-4 days on land? If you book a land and sea pkg, is there really much of a discount, or are you better off just booking seperate anyways, especially if there is a special offer out there, like free dining, or book 4 nights get 3 free, or free hopper upgrades? We were thinking of just flying in the day before the cruise and staying at the beach. I am worried about missing the cruise-- we'll be going in Jan/Feb.

Contact Kingdom Konsultants for more information. But yes you can cruise first and go to WDW second... The savings depend on the season and catagory room.... also if WDW is having a promotion that can make a differance - your best bet is to put KK to work for you. They'll be able to price it both ways and get you exactly what you want for the best price available! :) Good Luck!

Disney does offer the cruise first, land last pkg. I have booked it before where we added X amount of days for a land package for clients on a separate pkg for those extra days. If they do drop a discounted pkg for that time frame you can have it for the separate pkg, but it cannot be combined with the land/sea pkg. If you want to book the cruise and a pkg separately you can do that also.

Disney does offer airline booking along with the cruise when you book the cruise and it will usually jive with the ships departure time.

Trust me, it's not a "boring boat ride" - a Disney cruise can be every bit the fun of the parks, even more so, depending on your interest. After a few days at the parks, you'll be ready for a lesser pace and the cruise will provide this.
We've done land and sea twice, in that order, and would never consider changing the order. There is so much fun stuff on the ship, islands to do, or if you want to relax on the ship you can simply do that as well.

We did land and sea last year. We did ours ala carte because it turned out cheaper for us. We stayed at Pop as the Value Resorts are not available with land and sea, so if cost is any issue, book the land portion seperate from the cruise.

I think the 4 day cruise is the way to go though. We did the 3 day and it was over just when we were getting used to everything.

I agree with Jimbo on this issue. I would rather do the parks after the cruise. We are booked in October 07 for a land/sea and if we were not going with another couple it would be sea/land.

I just don't know "if" we would like the cruise. The food sounds great though. But if all else fails, we will still have a week+ at WDW to follow it up.
