La Marina at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort to become seasonal

I just stayed at CS from 09/13-09/21.

At first that I was a little concerned that I would not like the place and that it would be very "non-disney". This was not at all the case. It made me realize that you didn't have to see mickey everywhere to have the Disney experience.

The resort was extremely beautiful, at nighttime walking around the lake and laying in one of the hammocks on the beach was one of the most memorable events of my trip.

The Pepper Market was also a really good diamond in the rough. It's the only place (that I know of) in Disney where you can get a steak as a TS meal.

We are going to Coronado Springs this weekend and were looking forward to using the Sea Raycers. Normally when we go for the weekend the resorts are more or less a place for us to just sleep, but this weekend we are only going to MNSSHP Saturday evening and wanted to spend the afternoon doing things at the resort that we normally do not get a chance to do. Not that I would have switched resorts for this one ammenity, but it makes me mad none the less!

A little off subject, but try renting a Sea Raycer at Poly, GF, or Contemporary instead. It's not as easy to get to as just walking from your resort room, but the Bay Lake/Seven Seas resorts offer a lot more water to explore. It's a great way to spend an afternoon. And it's probably the only place in the world where you can pilot a boat over a street and under a monorail track within 100 yards :ROFLOL:

Although I've never stayed at CS, I have all the same observations about it. We usually go to the Pepper Market at least once per trip (and I think you mean Quick Service, not Table Service), becuase it is so much better than the other food courts. Maya Grill is also an excellent restaurant.

As for the marina going seasonal, I've never really considered renting a sea raycer anywhere other than Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon. That's where all the good scenery is.

GOOD FIND! I also know you used to be able to get a steak at Bridgeton Broiler at Caribbean Beach, and it was always good. Not sure if menu changed, but it used to be a counter service steak and was good.
