The Studio Chapter is going on the road for its next meeting on February 16th. We’re getting together to have some fun at that world-famous theme park…Knott’s Berry Farm?!? Come spend a day at Knott’s Theme Park enjoying classic rides such as the Calico Mine Train and the Log Ride or try exciting thrill rides like Ghostrider and the new Xcelerator, then join us for lunch, conversation, and a few items of business at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant. (Among the things we’ll be discussing is making a donation in memory of David Mumford to the Ryman-Carroll Foundation; if you’d like to make a contribution, please bring your contribution to the meeting.) After lunch, you can return to Knott’s Theme Park, shop for Snoopy souvenirs at Knott’s California Marketplace, or even go a little farther down the road to that other famous theme park (what was its name again?). Please join us for a fun and exciting day!
The Studio Chapter will meet at 1:00 p.m. at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant at Knott’s Southern California Resort, 8939 Beach Boulevard, Buena Park. Directions to Knott’s are available at the theme park’s website, "http://www.knotts.com". Admission to Knott’s Theme Park is not required to attend the meeting; free three-hour parking is available for shopping and dining. The Chapter has made a reservation for 1:00pm, sharp, for the Sunday Champagne Brunch. Cost per person is $13.95 for Adults, $10.00 for Seniors, and $7.50 for Children. We encourage members to travel together or make arrangements to meet at Knott’s if they’d like to visit the theme park before or after the meeting. Non-members are welcome to attend.
