La Cava del Tequila

We are planning a 5-day trip with some friends in March (unexpected trip - yay!), and I definitely want to try a little drinking around the world. I keep hearing great things about the margaritas at La Cava del Tequila, and this is my question - is this a place where we can just walk up? I wanted to make sure we didn't need a reservation for San Angel Inn. It doesn't look like it's part of the restaurant, but I wanted to be sure, since I'm in charge of planning everything.

Another related question - exactly where in France do I find the Grey Goose slushy? I really wanted one of these on our last trip, but it was just too cold for a slushy the night we were at Epcot, so I didn't try to hunt it down.

Thanks for the help!

Cava is seperate but it can get very busy! Great Spot :slurp:

The slushee can be found at a kiosk on the left as you enter into the French pavillion

La Cava is great, and it is not a reservation type place. There are a few tables to sit and relax, and you can order a limited number of appetizers. The Grey Goose slush can be found at the wine stand in France. It is on the water side across from Le Chefs.

2 great questions!! Another nice thing about La Cava, you can just walk in and get a margarita to go. It should last you until you get to France for the Grey Goose slush. Happy walking!

you can do la cava as a walk up to the bar to get a drink in a to go cup or you can (space permitting) go in and sit down. if you go into la cava on a monday-thursday you can usually get them to do a margarita flight. they charge (if i remember correctly) $18 for the flight with each of the shots about 5-6oz each and they give you 5 of them, they don't give you a choice of flavors tho (just fyi). it's a GREAT way to get to try some different flavors. i love the sweeter drinks like the pomegranate or the blood orange margaritas, my daughter loved the avacado one. said it tasted smoother and kind of creamy but not at all like avacado. we ducked in here the first time after getting caught in the rain. La Cava is an inside bar at the Mexican pavilion but the place you've asked about for the grey goose slushy are in a kiosk across from chefs de france.

La Cava del Tequila is wonderful! Make sure you try the Avacado Margarita. It's a hidden gem. Sounds disgusting but believe me it's worth the $12. And if you're looking to drink the world right... start in Mexico. Liquor before beer, your in the clear. :p
