HI all, first post here :)

I present to you my project: a ride based on The Emperor New Groove. Designed to fit in the theming of a movie themepark ( Disney MGM Studio, Walt Disney Studios Paris, Hollywood Pictures Backlot in DCA).
The ride is an indoor spinning wildmaus coaster.

WDW already has a spinning wild mouse. Have you not seen the fantastic billboard (photo courtesy of General Grizz)

How about something better than a spinning Wildmouse?

How about the Rabid Squirrel concept or whatever it's called.

Basically you sit in cars that travel up a large tower, well the cars start on a strait path and when they approach the edge, they flip over and continue on upside down until ack by the lift and flip again.

It has a Zig-zag like form.

Anyway, it is cheap, easy to build, and with its slow speed, a good story could be told. (if the blood rushing to your head does not stop that)

And this is a real rollercoaster. Yet only the prototype has been built. There are currently no working models in the world. I think it was S&S that make it but I can't remember.

hi and thanks for your nice coments first.

A screaming squirrel would not make it for me, the spinning wildmaus coaster, with a good theming can be a LOTS OF FUN! i experinced the ride "WINJA's Fear Force" in Phantasialand in Germany, this ride is just Awesome! The theming is fabulous, totally indoor, in an imaginary city of imaginary creatures! And there is no lift! it is a an elevztor that bring you on top! very clever! When i rode it, i immediately think of this scene in Kuzco where Kronk and Yzma ride their coaster to the lab...

I made the concept-art with photoshop :)

2 rides with lacks of theming ( no theming at all) and easily bulldozables

Moreover, the ride was created for Disney Studios Paris , my home resort :)

The DAK spinning coaster is actually two coasters that are indentical. Wild Mouse coasters and the like have very poor capacity, so they needed to build 2 to keep the lines from being outrageous (similar to how Space Mountain is 2 coasters)

Well Primevil Whril is what happened to Excavator due to budget cuts and such.

But there are so many other rides that could provide a better use than the spinning wildmouse. Especially if a controlled spin ride was used or something in the likes of the Cat in the Hat ride at IOA.

What a geat idea.....Ill admit at first when hearing a ride based on EMps New Groove I wasnt convinced but your idea specially IZMA being a NON-Successful actress (inspired by Sunset Blvd...) could be so funny.

With regards to the fact that wdw have mad mouse or whatever their called rides.....They also have a Regurgitation of the flying dumbo ride. There is no theming in them at all.. Untill i was like 18 or so i didnt realise the Fying Rockets (name??) where a similarity to the dumbo ride. Theming was great from a kid point of view. But now with the aladdin ones its taken a ride and overdone it! Specially the place they have put it in Adventureland Magic Kingdom!

So KIN thats a great idea sounds like fun and as long as theres great theming behind it then its even better! No cardboard cutouts more AA. Thats what I say :)
