KTTW; what are the chances?

We are visiting Dec. 7-14 and I was very disappointed to learn that Haunted Mansion will be closed. BUT, we will be doing a KTTW tour. Any chance we might be taken backstage at HM since it will be closed?

I think you mean KTTK. No way to know. I took the tour on 10/24 and we rode Haunted Mansion immediately after lunch at Columbia Harbour House. We immediately walked to Main Street and went backstage by Casey's Corner after that. Is there a chance? Sure, there's a chance. But my guess is not likely. They'll probably put you on another ride. The two closest are IASW or Peter Pan. Maybe IASW and all get in the same boat. Then the guide can tell you stories about Walt Disney developing the ride as you go through it. Of course, I could be wrong.

I would put the chances at just north of 0% if it is closed for refurb.

You don't really go backstage on the HM on this tour. You simply go through a back/side entrance.

KTTK, right. Well I hope we don't have to ride Small World or Peter Pan. I've had my fill of those for this lifetime!
