lol...those fishermen...are the crab cakes as good as Maryland standards...I was born in Baltimore

And that right there is my fear. My dad has had them in Baltimore before and also would make his own from the blue crabs we'd catch when we lived in NJ...so the bar is quite high. He even used the same recipe for grouper scraps and it was still divine.

You are wise :). There literally ARE no Restaurants in WS anymore... just places to eat :).

What to do?

Grab the EPCOT boat - hit one of Swann, Dolphin, or Yachtsman's... enjoy Shula's, Il Mulino, the Yachtsman's Steak House, the BluZoo (not one of our favorites, but it IS a REAL Sig...).

EPCOT is a lovely Park - Great Scenery, Great Rides, and you can get a good sandwich there :). But consider a GOOD place for Dinner :).

I would love to do BlueZoo if it were a kid free trip. You can't go wrong with Todd English ... Olives in Vegas is on our short list of possible restaurants for our trip this summer. Il Mulino is another I'd like to pop in and try...heard lots of great things. Steaks are a different story...I get an earful on how many amazing steak places we have locally - and while they're right, sometimes I just try and avoid the lecture when making ADRs. ;) Thanks for the suggestions! :)

I know this is going to sound like World Showcase blasphemy, but I'm really not up for any of the Epcot restaurants for our Epcot day. Still, I love that vibe of dining in the World Showcase. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it just has this "I'm eating at Epcot" feeling by dining in there. Instead, I was thinking Kouzzina since I still haven't made it in there, it's convenient to Epcot, and the menu's Meditteranean flair feels like it could give us some of that WS vibe. Any thoughts?
We were just at kouzzina two week ago for dinner and it's our new favorite restaurant in disney!! The plus is that it's open later then World show case restaurants. Definitely give it a try

August 18 is our first meal there and I am so looking forward to it! Heard nothing but good things about the place! We, too, our lamb lovers! As a matter of fact, if it is on the menu in Disney we order it. Every time it is incredible. Unfortunately it is not on as many menus as it use to be!
