Let me tell you that even though the Mummy ride is great, I totally miss Kongfrontation ... I am a native New Yorker, and I loved going into the attraction ... reminded me of home!!

Yeah...the queue line made you feel as though you were actually waiting for the subway. That was the closest I ever got to riding the subway.

It was probably the queue line with the most attention to detail when it was made, all of that fake graffiti, amazing!

I got stuck on that ride for hours. It would break down half way through and they made us go through it again. I believe it broke down a total of 4 times. Just not too special of a ride when kong locks up.

I didn't know the ride was gone but can't say I would ever ride it again anyway.

I liked it, but I always thought the ride needed to be longer. You saw Kong twice...it probably had the best atmosphere of any ride I can think of. From the subway to the tram car and news broadcast to the helicopter, and apartment buildings with windows, etc.

But, it lasted MAYBE two mins, and that was just because it moved so slowly.

I remember all of the TV specials about how the ride was made and how great it was supposed to be. And, how you would feel that Kong was really after you.

After being very excited to ride it, waiting in line for hours, and then riding the short ride, I was very disappointed. It was OK, just not what I had built it up to be in my mind.

I miss it too. It had a great atmosphere and it was pretty fun. On Halloween Horror night 10 you got to walk on the bottom of it. It was awesome. Is the one in California the same
