Does anyone else think that it was way too early for the closure of Kong. At first I kinda thought it was the right time but now with the upcoming release of Universals new Kong movie it seems strange to have shut the ride down so soon. I mean, I'm all for the Mummy ride and can't wait for its opening, but surely there was enough room for this ride in the out dated Earthquake ride building.
I therefore think that Universal should create an enclosure in the park where there is a cage or compound containing the huge Kong animatronic, instead of just wasting it. Imagine it, hearing the roar echoing across the park and then reaching a cage with this huge captured gorilla. With the new film etc. the theming and publicity it would get would be unbelievable and would definatley be a focal point of the park.
Far fetched or feasible, what do you think?!?
