Sent three people to the hospital with minor injuries. Said the coach was a movie prop when it was bought - wonder how much that affects the design/durability.

It does not bode well for it. Most movie props are made to last for the filming and that is it. Sometimes a prop will be built in a similar manner to a real item if they intend to use it as such, which is what I suspect is the case with these, but static props are designed not to fall down and that is about it.
