Just got back from the parks a little while ago, and had a blast! Crowds were surprisingly light today - I didn't see the line for Haunted Mansion Holiday top more than 20 or 30 min all day.
As RU mentioned in his post, the JC guns are back in full swing! I have a photo of it here although at the angle I was at, you couldn't see the gun. :lol:
The new Indy snake is great! Great movement, and it's much more menacing than it was in the past.
And of course, I can't forget HMH!! It's very similar to last year's version, really - only one or two minor changes that I noticed. I took pics, although most inside pics really didn't come out that great. They're all on my latest photo update here. A couple of things i noticed: I was disappoinnted to see that the "Slay Rides" sign in the load area has changed from last year. It now reads "Sleigh Rides,' which isn't nearly as clever.
Also, the "Countdown clock" on the exterior of the Mansion didn't seem to be running today.
Imagine has changed, now that the Matterhorn is under refurb. The entire Tinkerbell segment has been removed since she can't fly. Also, I noticed a new rooftop pyro near the beginning that I don't remember being there before.
And I'd just like to say how much fun I had, acting like a dork today. With the help of fellow WDWMagicer disneydewald, we performed the entire Fantasmic opening number on the island, to the amusement of everyone going by on the Mark Twain. We even had at least two or three people on the Twain videotaping us... and we got a big round of applause at the end.
Note to self: acting like an idiot is a fun attention-getter. :lol:
