Ok, this is about the ending to Kingdom Hearts, if you haven't beaten it yet. You probably shouldn't read any further or risk some major spoilers.

It took me 2 months and 40-some hours of gameplay, but I finally beat it. What a journey! Personally, I thought Ansem was a pushover. I didn't even have to use a single item, just cure and aero. Malificent was pretty easy too. I thought the toughest boss was Ursula, big version. .. mostly cause of that darn water-su.cking attack. The ending completely blew me away. In fact, I think I'll fight Ansem again to see it later on. I still have some questions though. What happened to Riku and Mickey? Do we find them at the end, when everyone's following Pluto? So Sora doesn't return to Destiny Islands, but stays with Donald and Goofy? The reunions were cool, but they should have also done one of Beast turning into a prince in Belle's arms. Or maybe they did and I was looking away. So for the sequel, everyone's grown up. It seems that Sora is missing, is the keyblade master now Riku? Will the Disney characters play a part, or will it be strictly Squaresoft? I don't think Kingdom Hearts could exist without the Disney characters. So much to think about... guess that's what makes it a great ending. It gives a conclusion, but still leaves things up in the air.

Hey,

My housemates and I recently beat the game also. Did you get a chance to see all the way through the credits to the ending with Sora, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto? Pretty cool. Also, did you unlock the special ending, which is really a preview of Kingdom Hearts II? You have to collect all the puppies, all the postcards, all of ansem's report, and beat all the bosses (not the hidden ones though). It looks really cool and I can't wait till it comes out. The ending was easier that most of the rest of the game, especially Ursula. We're going back and working on the ultimate weapon now. ttyl, have fun playing.

The second Ansem was tough, but everything after that was a breeze.

That, my friend is another chapter and something sequels are made for.

Nope.

They are both keyblade masters, I think Riku is looking for Sora so he can become the 'only' keyblade master. That may not be the 'real' Riku - maybe a shadow of him or something.

It will have Disney stuff in it. I think they're talking to Pixar about putting some of their stuff in.

Don't go nuts for a sequel just yet though - we're probably not going to see it mentioned until 2004.

I thought the 2nd one was pretty easy. Though I fought him at level 64 and with the Lionheart keychain. With aeroga, his flying attack just bounces off of you and anytime he sent his guardian after me, I just used strike raid to hit him from far away. I think any boss that you can bash is easy, it lets you conserve your mp for defenses and lets you easily replenish mp if you have mp rage and mp haste activated, so there's really never a need to use items. I thought the bosses that were the biggest pain were the ones that were hard to bash and made you waste your mp... like phantom and Ursula.

I beat the game in 42 hours. But I only played it during my free time, usually a couple hours on the weekends, Some people have more important things to do than spend an entire week playing video games.
