Kingdom Hearts 2 in WDW in 2006 - 2007ish, do people remember this at all?

I was looking for more information about this, because I can't tell if it's a mandela effect or not.

I remember back then that Kingdom Hearts 2 actually had a pretty decent presence in Disney World around the time of its release. Namely, I remember it being in the World of Disney and seeing a trailer of the game. I am 90% sure it was a real thing, but I mean I was like 7 at the time. I was wondering if it was also in MGM, since I could have sworn I saw a video of the game, in what I think is the "One Man's Dream" attraction.

I tried looking for videos around that time period and have not come up with anything. It's such a minor thing, but I often have thought about since it's one of my favorite games. If anyone can enlighten me that would be awesome, because it's something I have wondered for a while. It's just interesting because KH has very little presence in the parks, most of the merch for the game consists of lousy pins and maybe like one T shirt, so the fact you could even buy the game in WDW is crazy to me.

The store in Japan had some rather nice merch back in the day much better than what Game Stop had over the years

If i remember correctly when new games would come out or experiences such as disney infinity, they would have game systems with the game in a plastic case so you could play and beg your parents to buy it. And I am sure they had cardboard cutouts etc. I didnt go around that time, but might be part of what you are remembering.

Also with this being a rather common thing and before social media I doubt anyone would have pictures etc of it.

They had the games in the toy store and a demo outside in DTD

Only encounter of anything KH related I saw was in 2004's MNSSHP. They used the queue area for what is now The Laugh Floor for the GBA release of KH Chain Of Memories. they had demo games to try out but the best part was the Meet & Greet with Sora, Donald and Goofy and as you walk through the theater you got your candy to exit...
