So after watching this movie, I wonder.....any chance we'll see a new attraction? I could see them making like a 4D show over at the Terminator theater...based loosely on the theater scene in the movie. Then again there are so many possibilites for a new King Kong attraction....perhaps we'll see it over at IoA instead?

I would love to see another Kong ride, build something by MIB and make it heavily themed toward skull island, that would be awesome. I dont know what kind of ride it would be though

For King Kong, New York makes the most sense. But they already screwed it up by replacing Kongfrontation with Revenge of the Mummy. I like the mummy though, it's a great ride. Maybe take out Twister, it's time for a change there.

I would rather see a Skull Island attraction in Lost Continent than anything on the Studios-Side. A Studios attraction would feel too much like the original ride... (Unless it's a flume ride based on Skull Island... :D )

It makes you wonder if they are kicking themselves now for not tearing down twister and putting the mummy ride there. Not that there would be any room but you know what I mean.

What I'm worried about is if you build a ride, what would you put there that wouldn't be too scary? I mean, lets face it, those blood thirsty natives kinda freaked me out. Maybe you could have the ride start off like your in a jeep or something going across skull island then suddenly your switched off and running through the streets of New York?

Is it me or has Universal really been making poor choices lately? The Seuss Landing ride is scheduled to open but is that really going to bring in the crowds? This years HHN didnt sell out from what I have read and heard. And now King Kong is a hit in the movies but there is no ride to back up the movie. Universal really has been 3 steps back lately. And with Disney opening up Everest I see the gap growing even more. Islands is in desperate need of a attraction but nothing scheduled till 2007. I guess Disney will be getting my money next year. :brick:

But if they would have left the ride people would probablywould have wanted to see the movie and ride the ride afterward... Isnt that what universal is all about Ride the movies? They screwed up really badly...

A LA Jurassic Park? Or something else?
Honestly, I think something more elaborate than JPRA. Something closer to Journey to Atlantis at Seaworld, only with a much more expanded coaster segment.

And greater visuals... Somefink in 3-D perhaps?
No, I want it to move fast like Mummy. It would essentially a flume version of Mummy with a drop like Jurrassic Park at the end.

we definately need a new Kong ride after this awesome movie! heck, we can have two!

One could be set in Skull Island and have guests be whisked away on a seemingly routine hot-air balloon ride that goes tragically off course and fnds itself along the shores of skull island, losing altitude, the balloon suddenly goes through the island and is now at the mercy of the many gigantic creatures living there. we could even get to see the Kong/V-Rex battle right in front of us. The ride could be a combo of Soarin/Spider-Man/traditional dark ride.

The other one could use Back To The Future/Indy technology and be set in New York where we would be unsuspecting tourists riding a bus that suddenly gets caught in the middle of Kong's rampage. So much so that Jack Driscoll ends up hijaking the bus and is chased by Kong and menaced by Kong as well (with Kong riping the top of the bus out). When Kong gets distracted by Ann and takes her to Empire State, Jack decides to drive us there where we would become witnesses, thanks to the newly created sun roof, to Kong's demise.
