Kilimanjaro Safaris and Extra Magic Hours

I noticed that Animal Kingdom opens one hour earlier for Extra Magic Hours.

Does that mean the Kilimanjaro will run earlier too or would I have to wait until 9AM.

When the park opens for EMH or not, the attractions for the most part open.

It does open during EMH. We've found that's the best time to ride. We usually see the most animals that early.

Also late afternoon right before the Safari is closed is an ideal time and a lot of times better than the morning. We were told this by some of the head animal folks (can't remember her/their exact title) when doing the Backstage Safari Tour and the Sunrise Safari Tour. Has always been true for us. Usually even get to see the gorgeous Male lion up front and center. Lots of giraffes, etc etc.
