Kidani Refurb in October

We just received a letter stating that Kidani would be going through a renovation in October while we are there. And that they would try to keep the inconveniences to a minimum while we are there. Anyone know whats being done? Anyone know if theres anything we can do to try to avoid this as much as possible?

I know that no one wants to deal with construction. The thing though is that this trip is an extremely special one for my family. The entire family is travelling and this will be our first time splurging on a Deluxe resort. Halloween day is my parents 40th anniversary!! And my younger brother is planning on proposing while on this trip. Its just so disappointing that the resort will not be up to par with what the normal standard is. I am the one planning this whole thing, and I just really was trying to provide everyone with a perfect celebration.

You most likely won't even notice it. It's the standard soft goods refurbishment (carpets, bedding, furnishing coverings, some bathroom work, etc etc) in the rooms they do every 7 years. They only work 9-5ish as to not affect anyone with any noise etc. You will be fine.

You're very welcome!! And yeah no sledge hammers you will see at least, or hear being your gone most during the daylight hours. Haha!
They also usually don't put people right next to the group of rooms being currently worked on, but of course if it's full they can't always avoid that that's why they keep the noise down by doing it when most are gone for the day.
